Advanced Mode is designed for users who need greater control over data accuracy, relevance, and scope. Instead of simple keyword matching, Advanced Mode allows you to define logical relationships, exclusions, language, and geographic constraints—ensuring your campaign captures only what truly matters. If you find that your results include too much noise—or miss important conversations—this feature is the right choice.
This mode is commonly used for:
- Crisis and reputation monitoring
- Competitor or multi-brand comparisons
- Market and consumer research
- High-volume or long-running campaigns
If you are new to campaign creation, we strongly recommend reading Creating a New Campaign in DXT360 first. Advanced Mode builds on the same foundation, with more powerful controls for precision tracking and analysis.

| You can switch modes at any time during campaign setup. In the Campaign Configuration page, click the “Advanced Mode” link. |
| Once enabled, additional fields and filters will appear automatically. |
| Building Keywords with Boolean Logic |
| Advanced Mode supports Boolean queries, which let you define relationships between keywords. |
|
Supported Operators:
Example (honda OR toyota) AND electric NOT recall What this does: Tracks conversations about Honda or Toyota related to electric vehicles, while excluding recall-related mentions. |
| Using Keyword Exclusions |
| Exclusions help you remove irrelevant or misleading mentions without weakening your main query. |
|
Common Use Cases
Example Main Query: (honda AND civic) Exclusion: (job OR career OR vacancy) This ensures your campaign focuses on product discussions, not recruitment posts. |
| Applying Language and Country Filters |
|
| Advanced Mode gives you more precise control over how conversations are captured by supporting Boolean logic, exclusions, and language and country filters. This helps reduce noise and ensures your campaign data stays relevant to your monitoring goals. With cleaner data, you can generate more accurate insights, track trends with confidence, and rely on your results for reporting, strategy, and crisis monitoring. |
