Following posts on Facebook and Instagram initiates the comment extraction and a quicker update in metrics for that specific post. Posts must be followed individually and can be initiated by clicking on the (+) icon besides each comment count. Posts can only be followed if comments are available and are not zero.
After post following initiation is successful, the (+) icon will change to a loader, indicating that the follow process has begun and comments are in queue for initial extraction.
Once comments are enabled to be viewed, the number can be clicked and the icon will change again to "download", indicating that this post has comments to be viewed and is actively collecting comments for the next 14 days. Comments will be update once per day over that period.
The comment detail display screen informs on the content of the comments extracted and updated metrics for that post updated daily.
1. Follow Status
Indicates how many comments have been collected out of what is available. This number may differ from the actual comments on the original posts. The system does not guarantee all comments will be extracted.
2. Force Refresh
Manually force refresh of the comments and metrics for this post.
3. Download Comments
Download the comment into an excel file, available in the "exports" section.
