The Filter Source panel has been redesigned in My Data to give you deeper control and faster discovery when analyzing campaign results. You can now combine Campaign, Tags, and the all-new Labels filter to slice through data with precision — whether you’re tracking branded content, segmenting by themes, or reviewing uncategorized mentions.
This new layout is fully responsive and available across desktop, mobile, and tablet, ensuring a seamless experience no matter where you access your data.
Overall, this update makes your filtering experience cleaner, smarter, and more adaptive to how you actually work with data every day.
What’s New
- Two Organized Tabs for Simpler Navigation
To make filtering more intuitive, the drawer now separates filters into two tabs:
- Sources – Displays all Campaign under your account and Tags linked to them.
- Labels – Lists every label you’ve created in My Data for easy thematic filtering.
Each tab includes:
- A search bar for quick access to specific items.
- A selection counter that shows how many filters are active.
- Persistent selections that stay in place even if you close and reopen the drawer.
This structure eliminates confusion and ensures you always know exactly what filters are applied.
- Labels Filter
Labels are a powerful way to categorize your data — for instance, grouping posts by brand theme, campaign type, sentiment, audience category, or even by issue and sub-issue.
With the new ‘Labels’ filter, you can instantly refine results based on these custom labels and analyze different perspectives within a single campaign view.
How it works:
- The system automatically lists all labels created under your account.
- By default, no labels are selected — meaning all posts (both labeled and unlabeled) are visible.
- You can select up to 10 labels at once. When you reach the limit, other checkboxes will be temporarily disabled.
- Deselecting a label re-enables additional options, giving you flexibility as you explore.
- To display data for the selected labels, you must select at least one Source — either a Campaign or Tags. These are mandatory for the filter to function correctly.
- Unlabeled Toggle — Find What’s Missing
Sometimes the most valuable insights come from what hasn’t been categorized yet.
The new Unlabeled Toggle helps you isolate posts that don’t have any label assigned.
When you activate this toggle:
- It counts as one filter selection in the Labels tab.
- All active label selections are automatically unchecked and temporarily disabled.
- Your data table instantly updates to display only unlabeled posts.
This feature is particularly useful for:
- Analysts cleaning datasets and preparing reports.
- PR teams identifying new or untagged conversations for labeling.
- Agencies reviewing incoming mentions before assigning them to campaigns.
- Export Behavior
The export process now adapts to your filter settings, giving you more transparency and control over your exported datasets.
When exporting raw data while no label is selected:
- The export will include all posts filtered by your chosen Campaigns and Tags.
- The Label column in your exported file will be empty for posts without labels —making it easy to identify entries that still need categorization.
When exporting raw data while one or more labels are selected:
- The export will include only the posts that match the selected Labels, combined with the chosen Campaigns or Tags.
- This ensures your offline export mirrors exactly what you see on screen — useful for focused analysis and reporting.
Why It Matters
Filtering is one of the most frequently used functions in DXT360 Analytics — and this revamp directly enhances your day-to-day efficiency.
- For Brand & Marketing Managers: Instantly isolate campaign-specific mentions or label clusters to track performance and audience sentiment.
- For PR & Communications Teams: Combine label filters with source selection to monitor crisis-related content or untagged mentions that might require escalation.
- For Research & Insights Analysts: Analyze multiple label categories (e.g., “Positive Feedback,” “Price Complaints”) within a single dataset for richer consumer insight.
- For Agencies: Manage multi-client projects faster with persistent filters and easy unlabeled tracking for new content.
Across every role, this update means:
- Deeper multi-source filtering – Combine Campaigns, Tags, and Labels for better context.
- Faster discovery – Find exactly what you need using localized, tab-specific search.
- Smarter organization – Separate tabs make filtering cleaner and more intuitive.
- Flexible workflow – Persistent selections and the unlabeled toggle simplify data cleaning and analysis.
The new ‘Labels’ filter feature gives you complete control over how you segment, view, and export your data — transforming the Filter Sources panel into a powerful insight engine for your campaigns.
Available now across both desktop and mobile versions, this redesign ensures your data analysis experience remains smooth, efficient, and tailored to your workflow.
