This section explains how Search and Campaign features work in DXT360 Analytics, including how data is processed, why results may differ, and how to transition from exploration to campaign tracking.
Is Open Search and Raw Data Search different?
Open Search and Raw Data Search use different data processing methods and may return different results. Open Search is designed for broader exploration, while Raw Data Search focuses on structured campaign data.
Because they rely on different sources and logic, variations in volume and content may occur between the two.
Why are results different between Search and Campaign?
Search and Campaign features use different data sources and processing logic, which can result in differences in output.
Search is more exploratory, while Campaign focuses on predefined keyword tracking and structured data collection.
Can I create a campaign directly from Open Search?
Yes, you can create a campaign directly from Open Search by converting your search query into a campaign. The system will automatically carry over your selected keywords, filters, and settings into the campaign setup.
This allows you to quickly move from exploring data to tracking it without starting from scratch. Read Creating Campaigns from Open Search for a step-by-step guide to create a campaign from search feature.
Why can’t I use a custom date when creating a campaign from Open Search?
Custom date selection is not available when creating campaigns from Open Search. Only predefined time ranges can be used to ensure consistent and complete data coverage.
The campaign start date will be automatically set based on the selected period filter.
Why can’t I edit keywords during campaign creation from Open Search?
When creating a campaign from Open Search, keywords are directly imported from your search query and can only be selected or unselected at that stage.
To modify keywords, you need to return to the Search page and update them before creating the campaign again.
