This section explains how to manage campaigns in DXT360 Analytics, including editing campaign settings, controlling data collection, managing access, and understanding how campaign changes affect monitoring and historical data.
Can I edit a campaign after it has been created?
Yes. You can edit your campaign settings, such as the campaign name, industry, access type, and monitoring configuration, from the Campaign Library.
Some settings may affect future data collection only and will not modify data that has already been collected.
Does deleting a campaign stop data collection?
Yes. Once a campaign is deleted, DXT360 stops collecting new data for that campaign.
Can I temporarily stop a campaign without deleting it?
Yes. You can set a campaign to Inactive to stop new data collection while keeping the campaign and its historical data.
You can reactivate the campaign at any time to resume monitoring.
When should I use Inactive instead of Delete?
Use Inactive if you plan to resume monitoring later or want to preserve the campaign configuration and historical data.
Use Delete only if the campaign is no longer needed and you do not intend to use it again.
What happens when I reactivate an inactive campaign?
Once reactivated, the campaign resumes collecting new data based on its current configuration.
Data that was published while the campaign was inactive will not be collected unless a backdate is performed.
Can I change a campaign's access after creating it?
Yes. You can update a campaign's access type at any time by changing it to Private, Specific Users, or Public.
The new permission will apply immediately to all eligible users.
Can multiple users manage the same campaign?
Yes. Users with the appropriate permissions can view and manage the same campaign.
The actions available to each user depend on their assigned role and campaign access level.
Can I create campaigns with the same keywords?
Yes. Multiple campaigns can use the same keywords if they serve different monitoring purposes.
Each campaign is managed independently and can have different settings, channels, or access permissions.
What happens if I change my campaign keywords?
When you add, remove, or modify keywords, DXT360 begins collecting new data based on the updated keyword list.
Previously collected data remains unchanged unless you perform a backdate.
